The lesson is clever because it breaks down what is normally considered to be an advanced guitar song, too hard for beginners, into something which is manageable for most to do. That makes for exciting learning – to realize that you CAN actually do something which you previously thought was out of reach.
As with all online acoustic guitar lessons for beginners just make sure you take your time
- Learn the chord shapes
- Learn the strumming pattern
- Practice the progressions very slowly at first
- Create a simple stepping stone ladder from one section to the next
You’ll always have far more success in learning how to play guitar by taking a more constructive and intelligent approach like that and save yourself a lot of frustration along the way too!
